It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loisanne O'Connell of Morris, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hoskins and Louise Hoskins (Lowns); her husband Louie; and her daughter Sandy Rapp. She is survived by: her children, Daniel O'Connell of Minooka, Kevin O'Connell (LaDonna) of Marion, Connie Vaughn (Steve) of Wales, Kelly Johnson (Gerry) of Seneca and Paul O'Connell (Kathleen Misovic) of Brookfield, Illinois; her son-in-law Emerson Rapp of Peoria, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Jason O'Connell, Casey O'Connell (Danielle), Sara O'Connell (Brad Wilmeth), Patrick O'Connell, Katherine Vaughn-Jehring (Michael Jehring), Brenna Pham (Vince), Maggie Hopkins (Carl), Colleen Vaughn, D'Arcy Haeusser (Eric), Emerson Rapp III (Briana), Adam Johnson (Miranda), Rachel Johnson and Andre'Misovic-O'Connell. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (219 Emmett St, Kinsman, IL 60437). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery (2669 N 16th Rd, Ransom, IL 60470).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Loisanne's memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
