He was predeceased by: his brother L. Garrett Dergo. He is survived by: his parents, L. Gehrig Dergo and Joeine Dergo (Batts); his children, Pandora Haish, Kira Dergo, Layne Dergo and Ivy Dergo; and his siblings, L. Gehrig Jr. Dergo (Mary Beth) of Amarillo, L. George Dergo (Laurie Graham) of Morris and Laurie Decker of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several cousins, along with many close friends.
