He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Valencia and Maria Chavez of Texas; his daughters, Paulina Sierra (Ivan), Christina Valencia, Alicia Valencia-Engleke (Jon), Marissa Valencia and Destiny Bailey of Morris; his grandson Juan Jose Valencia of Morris; his siblings, Roberto Valencia (Leticia), Jaime Valencia, Victor Valencia, Hector Valencia of Texas and Obdulia Chavez (Indalecio) of California; and his grandchildren, Alayna Moreno, Angel Valencia, Daniel Valencia, Zayden Moreno, Raina Sierra, Aria Valencia-Engelke and Oliver Valencia-Engelke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the U. C. Davis Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (600 E Jackson St, Morris, IL 60450).
