He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Paulson and Ruth Paulson (Williams) of Morris; his wife Rosie (Niewinski) of Morris; his stepfather Leroy Matteson; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Birsa, Henry Niewinski, Shirley Niewinski and Sharon Paulson.
He is survived by: his cousin Don Williams; his sons, Tom (Sue Paulson) of Morris, Steve (Trish Paulson) of Naperville and Jim (Kara Paulson) of Morris; his brothers, Lynn Paulson of Morris and Gary Matteson (Debbie) of Morris; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Doerfler (Bill) of Morris and Mary Jane Birsa of Joliet; his grandchildren, Sam Paulson of Washington, D. C., Colleen (Matt Schuman), Margaret Paulson (Matt Davis), Erin (Brian Rzepka), Elyssa Paulson of Chicago, Keith Paulson of Ft. Myers, FL, Jacob (Maddie Paulson), Benjamin Paulson of Morris and Matthew Paulson of Morris; and his great grandchildren, Alastair Davis-Spence of Austin, TX, Olivia, Stella Schuman of Naperville, Aubrey, Blake Rzepka of Naperville and Jack Paulson of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
