She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Steele and Mary Steele (Harney); her daughter Mary; and her siblings, Dona Grieff (Russ), Chuck Steel (Judy) and Dick Steele (Joyce).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brett, Leanne Black, Laura Fisher, Craig, Michael Elsner, Jack, Matthew and Hayley Litwin. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren that she adored; as well as many nieces and nephews.
