He is survived by: his wife Lynn Thompson; his children, Derek Valerio (Jane), Kristin Ehrman (Paul) and Amanda Valerio Reid; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Stephanie Ehrman, Jacob Shroba, Arlene, Gabriel, Caleb, Noah, Aaron and Robert Valerio.
