She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Schipper and Elizabeth E. "Betty" Schipper (Medema); her husband Neal; and her sons, Steven and Larry Geerts.
She is survived by: her children, Darla Vandermyde (Ron) of Morrison, Randy Geerts (Elaine) of German Valley, IL and Timothy Geerts (Dana) of Freeport, IL; and her brothers, Dave Schipper (Darlene) of Morrison and Roger Schipper of Morrison. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Reformed Church (309 E Park St, Morrison, IL 61270). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
