He is survived by: his children, Deb VanKampen (Steve) of Morrison, Shari Akker (Gerry) of Morrison, Allen Venema of Morrison, Dan Venema (Tonya) of Orange City, IA and Traci McQuistion (Nick) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Angie VanKampen, Josh VanKampen (Penny), Luke Akker (Erica), Cara Visser (Asa), Brooke Hartman (Toby), Cole Venema (Julie), Joe McQuistion (Krystle) and Pat McQuistion (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Julia, Willamina, Evangeline, Kinzie, Johnathon, Patrick and Gideon; his siblings, Mildred "Pinky" Van Dyke (Vernon) of Morrison, Mary Jean Wiersema of Sterling, IL and Calvin Venema (Paula) of Atkinson, IL; and his sister-in-law Ruth Venema of Fulton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM.
