It is with sadness that the passing of Doris A. Vandermyde of Morrison, Illinois is shared. Doris, born on July 25, 1935, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brondyke and Gertrude Brondyke (Vogel); her husband Frank J. Vandermyde; her son Stan Vandermyde; her daughter-in-law Pat Vandermyde; and her siblings, Lois Norman, Irma R. Hoogheem, Darlene Brondyke and Robert Brondyke.
She is survived by: her sons, Dave Vandermyde of Morrison, IL, Cal Vandermyde (Kim) of Morrison, IL and Ron Vandermyde (Darla) of Morrison, IL; and her sister Marcia Meinsma (Gerald) of Morrison, IL.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Church (202 E Morris St, Morrison, IL 61270). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to SONSHINE Early Education at Emmanuel Church.
