She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter VanDyke and Ella VanDyke (Buikema); her husband Fred; her grandson Corey J. Ottens; and her siblings, June Melsness, Phyllis Meiners, Mary Boswell and Bob VanDyke.

She is survived by : her children, Marsha Habben (Jesse) of Morrison, Mark Venhuizen (Melinda) of Ellerbe, NC and Gary Venhuizen (Penny) of Mercer, WI; her grandchildren, Stacey Pins (Leo), Kelly Albrecht (Josh), Jennifer Venhuizen, Ashley Vanhuizen and Kristina Espinoza (Toby); and her sister Debbie Huizenga (Allen) of Morrison. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
