He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Lisa Cain (Tim) of Rock Falls, IL, Todd Cassens (Wendy) of Downers Grove, IL and Steve Cassens (Lynn) of Morrison, IL; his grandchildren, Shane Bielema, Joshua Bartels (Rande), Alexandra Skura (Brian), Trevor Cassens and Drew Cassens; his great grandchildren, Jaxyn, Wesley Bartels and Luca Skura; and his close friend Piper.
