She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Buikema and Hattie Buikema (Byland); her husband Gilbert J. Damhoff; her children, Faye Kos, Douglas and Bill Damhoff; and her brothers, Orville, Harold and Robert Buikema.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Eyrich (Dan) of Fort Wayne, IN, Sally Johannsen (Rick) of Morrison, IL, Russ Damhoff (Jackie) of Dixon, IL, Rod Damhoff (Linda Herron) of Fulton, IL and Mike Damhoff (Kim) of Morrison, IL; her children-in-law, Lynette Damhoff of Morrison, IL and Gary Kos (Jeanie) of Washington, IA; and her siblings, Charlotte Houzenga of Sterling, IL, Martha Smith (Donald) of Morrison, IL, Richard Buikema (Ruth) of Eldridge, IA and Ted Buikema (Hazel) of Rock Falls, IL.. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
