She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonardo Cernet and Teresa Cernet (Tracogna); her husband Albert W. Folkerts; her children, Mary Folkerts and William John Folkerts; and her sisters, Jean Zito and Norma A. Lovett.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Folkerts (Carol) of Morrison, IL, Dennis Folkerts (Janet) of Wheatfield, IN and Michael Folkerts (Sherry) of Bourbonnais, IL; her granddaughters, Carrie Folkerts, Kathy Presley (Joe), Karen Folkerts and Amanda Folkerts; her great grandchild Tanner Snodgrass; and her siblings-in-law, Anthony Lovett of Brookfield, IL and Dorothy Montgomery of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
