She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel L. Merema and Grace A. Merema (Smith); her husband Harold G. Renkes; and her brothers, Bert and Martin Merema.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Vanderploeg (Ken) of Fulton, IL, Priscilla Ritzema (Jake) of Fulton, IL and Ken Renkes (Michelle) of Morrison, IL; and her grandchildren, Traci Kraemer (Ross), Kent Vanderploeg, Sara Pessman (Eric), Brett Ritzema (Melody) and Kimberly Graham (Myron). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
