We announce the death of Rose M. House in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 93. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Rose will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Rose’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Monnier and Helen Monnier (Larkey); her husband Douglas House; her son Corey House; and her brother Cecil Monnier.
She is survived by: her sons, Curt House (Sharon) of Sterling and Craig House (Elisabeth) of Sterling. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
