We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 89, Carl Durbin of Morrisonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Durbin and Grace Durbin (Skinner); his son Jeff Durbin; his siblings, Robert, Glenn Durbin and Vivian Durbin; and his sisters-in-law, B. Carol Durbin and Carol Durbin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Durbin of Morrisonville, IL; his children, Kelly Parkin (Mike) of Morrisonville, IL and Gary Durbin of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Durbin, Lyndsey Jones (Doug) and Jeremy Durbin; his children, Paul Parkin (Maria) and Erin Carter (Tom); his great grandchildren, Maeve, Emberly Parkin, Avery, Grayson Carter, Karleigh, Kynsleigh, Jeffrey Jr., Jameson and Kamreigh Durbin; his grandchildren, Miley, Carter Metz and Bexley Radford; and his siblings, Frank Durbin, Ronnie Durbin (Diane), Don Durbin (Dorothy), Betty Biondolino, Donna Durbin and Mary Griffiths (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home of Morrisonville (304 Carlin St, Morrisonville, IL 62546). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery (706 SE 4th St, Morrisonville, IL 62546).
Memorials may be made to the Morrisonville Ambulance Service or to the Morrisonville Fire Department. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Carl Durbin 's name.
