He was predeceased by: his parents, Panagiotis Stavrou and Konstandina Stavrou; and his siblings, George (late Vasiliki) and Kosta Stavrou (Vasiliki). He is survived by: his wife Canella Stavrou; his children, Constance Stavrou and Pete Stavrou (Kathy); and his grandson Demetrios Stavrou.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago.
