He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Steckly and Stephanie Steckly; his wife Sophie Steckly (Smolen); his sister Joan; his siblings-in-law, Paul Lesiuk and Anne Pilarski; and his nephew Mario Jr. Falco.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Taylor (Liam) and Adam Steckly (Alexa); and his grandchild Cosette Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
