He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa; his children, Kathleen Schumann (Wayne) and John Gibbons (Pamela); his grandchildren, Kevin Gibbons (Katelyn), Sara Gibbons, David Schumann and Elizabeth Schumann; and his siblings, Margaret Sampey (late James) and James Gibbons (Eileen).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simkins Funeral Home (6251 Dempster St, Morton Grove, IL 60053-2818). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Church (8149 Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714).
