He was predeceased by: his parents, George Englund and Isal Englund (Elburg); his sister Nancy Remrey of Reynolds, IL; and his niece Kari Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Englund; his daughters, Danette Bartelmay (Scott) of Morton, IL and Bridget O'Reilly (Shane) of Morton, IL; and his grandchildren, Hilary Vissering (Brandon) of East Peoria, Chelsea Cook (Todd) of Morton, Courtney Englund of Morton and Brendan Englund of Morton. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and his niece and nephew.
