He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schieber and Lourine Schieber (Giesel); his wife Wanda May Self; and his brothers, Loren Schieber and Alyn Schieber (late Hilda).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Schieber (Mikki) of Macon, Georgia, Jay Schieber (Jennifer Wells) of Chicago and Sandy Polonus (Jeff) of Peoria, Illinois; his brothers, Robert Schieber (late Jeanette) of Cypress and Leon Schieber (Ellen) of Morton, Illinois; his sister-in-law Ann Schieber (Loren); his grandchildren, Andrew Schieber, Evan Schieber, Emily Polonus, Eli Polonus and Nate Schieber; and his great grandchild Elliot Wooley.
