We announce the death of Earl Buchanan of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 89. Earl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Buchanan and Jacqueline Buchanan (McDonell); and his brother Ronald Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Buchanan; his children, Patrick Buchanan (Lisa) and Katie Bjarke (Bob); his grandchildren, Collin, Olivia Buchanan, Otto and Alex Bjarke; and his sister Nancy Bossson (Brian).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Peoria.
