It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Gerig of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Birky and Gertrude Birky (Eisele); and her husband Kenneth Gerig. She is survived by : her nieces, Sally Erdel (Tim) of Mishawaka, IN and Lois Birky of Morton; her sister-in-law LaRelda Birky of Morton; her great-nieces, Sarah Beth Getz (Matt) of Granger, IN and Rachel Martens (Peter) of Chesterfield, MO; her great-nephew Matthew Erdel (Megan Hoewisch) of Havre, MT; and also, Jack Getz, Peter Martens, Chloe Getz and Lily Erdel.
