He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick S. Rickard and Violet Rickard (White); his wife Kathleen Thomas; his son Kevin B. Rickard; and his brothers, James Rickard and Harold Rickard.
He is survived by: his children, Luan Statham (Wayne) of Galesburg, IL, Kirsten Schaub (Michael) of Morton, IL, Keith Rickard (Michelle) of Knoxville, IL and Tim Rickard (Dawn) of Gilson, IL; and his sister Betty Carlson of Galesburg, IL.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
