He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Clawitter and Eunice Clawitter (Wilson); and his sisters, Sherry Hale and Maxine Evans. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Clawitter of Morton; his children, Aaron Clawitter (Erin McCarthy) of Las Vegas, Prenda Gannon (Mark) of Morton and Gwynne Cotton (Alan) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Andrew Clawitter, Adam Clawitter (Natasha), Alyse Penny (Bruce) and Ashley Dallapiazza; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Clawitter, Everett Clawitter, Trey Penny and Prenda Dallapiazza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (325 E Queenwood Rd, Morton, IL 61550). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
