She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Miller and Georgia Miller (Ista); her spouse Carles "Mel" Melvin; her daughter Lori Sparks Martino; and her sisters, Kaye Dean and Sharon Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, John Burkley (Angie) of Pekin and Jana Irvin of East Peoria; her stepchildren, David Melvin (Merci) of Texas, Deanna Bruce (Bret) of Pekin and Greg Melvin (Stacie) of Nevada; and her sister Diane Porch (Dale) of Peoria. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
