She was predeceased by: her father Roger Lamer; her grandparents, Jason, Marjorie, Hopkins, Robert Lamer and Dorothy Hall; and her brother-in-law Jeff Wendell.
She is survived by: her mother Carla Lamer of Pekin; her husband Richard Dowds of Morton; her children, Bree Dowds of Morton and Boston Dowds of Morton; her siblings, Leslie Morris (Ryan) of Pekin, Rachel Wendell of North Carolina and Jason Lamer (Jaclyn) of Pekin; her parents-in-law, Larry and Margaret Dowds; and her sisters-in-law, Sarina Wieburg (Donnie) of Florida and Hollie Raymer (John) of East Peoria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tazewell Animal Protective Society.
