He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Knoerle and Lea Knoerle (Merdian); and his brother William Knoerle. He is survived by: his wife Susan Knoerle (Rankin); his children, Andrew Knoerle and Amy Knoerle Beale; his grandchildren, Allison Morreau (Dale) and Trevor Knoerle (Brittany); and his great grandchild Oliver Knoerle.
