He was predeceased by : his parents, Miley Virden Fishel and Helen Faye Fishel (Campbell); and his siblings, Edna Helen Ramsey, Olive Nancy Mulvaney, Alma Ruth Huth-Priest, Miley Albert Fishel, Harold Alvin Fishel, Harley Ernest Fishel and James William Fishel.

He is survived by : his mother-in-law Laura Olive Milburn; and his children, John Dennis Fishel (Minier), Scott Fishel (Morton), Howard (Dawn), Mark (Grace), Cynthia Fishel (Rockford) and Jeffrey E. Fishel.
