He was predeceased by: his parents, William Aupperle and Sophia Aupperle (Kaisner); his brother William Jr.; his son Bruce Aupperle; his daughter-in-law Debra Aupperle; and his close friend Jay Ackerman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Waughop (Earl), Lisa Stone (Greg) and Lynn Guthrie (Garlan); his siblings, Steve Aupperle (Nancy) and Delores Woodburn (John); his wife Carol Lindstrom-Aupperle; his stepsons, Mark Reecy and Matt Reecy (Barbara); his grandchildren, Andy Aupperle (Jill), Carolyn Aupperle, Kenny Stone (Kylee), Rachel Harshbarger and Emily Wurmnest (Chad); his great grandchildren, Jack, Lucy and Parker; his stepgrandchildren, Katelyn (Adam), Brittney (Neil), Cali, Brooke and Kaleb; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lily, Blake, Addison and Nellie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Morton Methodist Church (420 N Tennessee St, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Morton Methodist Church building debt reduction fund, Morton Opportunity Club or Peoria Honor Flight.
