He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Kaufman and Marjorie Kaufman (Kaiser); his wife Jill Geiger; and his sister Debbie Kaufman. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Kaufman (Jessica) of Kewanee, Illinois and Keri Phillips of Decatur, Illinois; his grandchildren, Joe Kaufman (Kali), Kadence and Steven Phillips; his brothers, Neal Kaufman (Barbara), Dennis Kaufman (Sharman) and Dr. John Kaufman (Jan); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Megan, Joah, Kiley, Samuel and Kinsey Knapp.
