Miriam leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Miriam’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. C. H. Wiederkehr and Ruth Wiederkehr (Gerig); her husband Rev. Ralph E. Ogden; and her siblings, Rev. Gareth Wiederkehr, Marilyn Stokes and Naomi Wiederkehr.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Gerig (Steve) of Houston, Texas, Sid Ogden (Beth) of Farmington and Stuart Ogden (Lisa) of Morton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
