He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Klopfenstein and Hope Aldene Klopfenstein (Brown); and his brothers, Jim and Jerry Klopfenstein. He is survived by: his wife Betty Klopfenstein of Morton; his sons, Peter Klopfenstein (Sonja) of Oviedo, Patrick Klopfenstein (Andrea) of Morton and P. J. Klopfenstein (Ali) of Morton; his grandchildren, Sophie, Alex, Drew, Sarah, Dayne, Emmitt, Trevor, Charlie, Lily and Henry; and his sister Jane Chittick (Dan) of Germantown, Tennessee.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or the Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center Capital Improvement Fund with the Morton Community Foundation.
