He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McDuff and Wilma Barkley (Foraker); his wife Doris Backes; and his siblings, Richard McDuff and Beverly McDuff.

He is survived by: his daughter Becky Watts; his grandchildren, Kenneth Smith (Rachel), Colleen Ryan (Dave), Sean Watts and Tatiana Watts; and his great grandchildren, Mark, Megan Ryan, Aidan and Addison Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Valley School District 62 "The Store Next Door".
