Joseph H. Gillock Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph H. Gillock of Mount Auburn, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gillock and Marjorie Gillock (Cordray); and his sisters, Jacqueline Thomas and Teresa Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gillock (Patrick); his children, Melissa Habing (John) of Teutopolis, IL, Kimberly Carter (Jon) of Smithton, IL and Erin Lash (Joe) of Macon, IL; his grandchildren, Anabelle, Katherine, Jolene, Joseph, Natalie, Brock, Elsie, Willow and Ava; and his brother David Gillock (Beverly) of North Ridgeville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Auburn Fire Department.
