He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Adams and Mildred Adams (Hall); his great grandchildren, Colt and Case Witsman; and his siblings, Lois Holcomb, Brenda Hargrave, Roy Adams, Gene Adams and Richard Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Adams; his children, Gaila Pinnick, Tom Adams (Tanya), Charles Adams (Jenny) and John Adams (Denise); his grandchildren, Brandie Hensley (Julie), Magon Karns (Jared), James Pinnick (Lori), Sean Nettleton (Sarah), Heather Rawls (Alex), Charley Adams (Thessa), Kaeli Adams (Clay Curtright), John Adams (Jennifer) and Cori Stringfellow (Brandon); and his sister Janet Oliver (Rick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
