He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Kendall and Martina Kendall (Emmons); his wife Jeanne Kendall of Mount Carmel; his children, Catherine Schroering (Leon) of Jasper, IN, John Kendall (Lana) of Mount Carmel and Matthew Kendall (Megan) of St. Francisville; his grandchildren, Courtney Hopf (Nathan), Olivia Young (Jared), Ashley Magee (Kyle), Allyson Kendall (Garrett Maloney), Abigail Maneiro (Eliu), Mary Carsey (Will), Jessika McGowan (Andrew) and Jacob Lollis; his great grandchildren, Avery Hopf, Cooper Hopf, Harper Hopf, Wade Magee, Clay Magee, Rowan Magee, Sophia Summers, Aaron Kasinger and Isabelle McGowan; his siblings, Roy Kendall (Karen), James Kendall (Kay) and Sherry Kasinger (Gary); and his nephews, Ben Mason, Jr. and Tracy Deckard. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews; extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (125 W 5th St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dave's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
