He was predeceased by: his parents, Linden Sr. Reed and Pearl Reed (Lambert); his wife Becky Reed; his daughter Alisha Perez; and his siblings, Jeffrey Reed, Shirley Scott Reed, Richard Reed, Linden Reed Jr., Linda Peach and Darlene Askrem.

He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Perry (Antonio Brown); his siblings, William "Bill" Reed (Deborah), Charlotte Lofton (Dick) and Brenda Dill; his grandchildren, Heaven Perry-Miller, Hayden Cullison, Asha Perry, River Perry, Levi Perry, Amya Scott, Ashton Scott and Jayden Perez; and his great grandchildren, Dallas, Braxton, Annabelle Morrison, Summer and Bentlee Carroll-Woods.
