She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Leipold (Riggs) and Arthur Leipold; her husband Paul Duane Deputy; her brother Bobby; her sister-in-law Iris Leipold; her niece Jonel Leipold Neising; her in-laws, Cliff, Mary Jo Deputy, Donna, Orville Neihouse, Mary, Dorris Cromer, Larry Chandler, Bob Deputy and Harold Deputy; and her nephews, Mike Deputy, Marty Deputy and Roger Morton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Ross (Frank), Debby Groover (Tony), Deana Stewart (Gary) and Darla Brooke (Randy); her grandchildren, Sue Ann Highland (Scott), Frank Ross (David Slade), Stephen Ross, Erich Martin, Tom Brooke (Cassie), Lindsey Chew (Chris), Rachel Campbell (Craig), Wes Brooke (Bailey) and Brian Groover; her great grandchildren, Darryn, Danny, Alexis Highland, Lexi, Keira, Lily, Charlotte Brooke, Kendall Brooke, Mason Slade-Ross, Denny, Ellie Campbell and Myles Chew; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Chandler, JoAnn Deputy and Betty Deputy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions for Doris Deputy can be made to First Christian Church Brown Bag Buddy Program at 803 N. Market St. in Mt. Carmel, IL.
