It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Joan Schuler (Mount Carmel, Illinois), born in Christopher, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Demaret and Anna Demaret (Gallik); her sister Marie Roberts-Kieffer; her nephews, John and Jim Roberts; and her husband Verne Schuler.
She is survived by : her children, Michael Crummley (Cindy) of Mt. Carmel, Theresa Cunningham (Kendall) of Mt. Carmel and Diane Schuler of Biloxi, MS; her grandchildren, Jared Crummley (Julie) of Mt. Carmel, Aaron Crummley (Jennifer) of Evansville, IN, Mark Crummley (Alix) of Lancaster, IL, Rebecca Stoltz (John) of Auburn, AL and William Crummley (Becca) of Bone Gap, IL; and her great grandchildren, Chris Mondoni (Mary) of Christopher, IL and George Perhach (Judy) of Mesa, AZ.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harriet's memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter or St. Joseph's Indian School which was her and Verne's favorite charity.
