Helen L. Gray Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen L. Gray of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Wilbert White; her husband John O. Gray, Sr.; and her siblings, Dick White, Bettye Ferry, Shirley Smith and Maryann White.
She is survived by: her mother Helen White (Centilli); her children, Jennifer Gray of Evansville, IN and Jody Gray (Cheryl) of Bellmont, IL; her grandchildren, Jacqi Garnett (Matt), Jason Gray and Jessica Gray; her great grandchildren, Ella Scarber, William Scarber and Waylon Garnett; and her great great grandchild Elias Moten.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Keepes Funeral Home (1500 N Cherry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies.
