He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Perry and Marjorie Perry (Carter); his siblings, Diana Gourley, Norman L. Perry Jr., John Richard Perry and William "Wild Bill" Perry; and his nephew Larry Perry.

He is survived by: his children, James Grahm (Christina), Christopher J. Perry and Katelyn Randall (John); his grandchildren, Lucas, Ezeekiel, Maycee, Zoie and Cali; his stepgrandchildren, Jared White, David and Haley Montgomery; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Malah Montgomery and Eden Edwards; his sister Kathy Adams (Billy); and his friend Larry Saltsgaver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
