With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dill Sr. of Mount Carmel, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Gene of Dill's Fish Market and Alviena Faye Dill (Perry); his son Robbie Dill; and his granddaughter Jimmie Sue Dill. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Reed; his children, Bethany Holbrook (Brian) of Columbus, IN and Jessie Dill (Sis Lutz) of Mt. Carmel, IL; his brother Bill Dill (Debbie) of Keensburg, IL; his grandchildren, Chandra Robertson (Chris), Billy Dill, Emily Archer, Jimmy Dill (Autumn), Josh Dill and Brooklyn Dill; and his great grandchildren, Wade Petro, Luke Dill, Layne Dill, Leah Dill, Ivory Dill, James Dill IV, Violet Dill, Ellie Mae Dill, Layla Dill and Josh Dill II.
