It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Louise McClane of Mount Carmel, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Augustus and Florence Ruth Carpenter (Russell); her husband Donald Lowell McClane; her son Chris McClane; her siblings, Wanda Eileen Barr, Barbara Thomas Sutt, Phyllis Carpenter, Paul Carpenter and John Darrell Carpenter; and her half-brother Leon Clifford Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, LaDonna Blevins (Don) and Mark McClane; her grandchildren, Melissa Blevins, Jenifer Blevins, Hanna Hart (George), Michael McClane (Mindy), Jade McClane, Kisha Summers (Steve) and Erin Freeman (Jacob); and her sister Janet Keil. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
