She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. Knight and Alleene Knight (Smith); her husband Mervin Burroughs; and her brothers, Louis Jr., George, John and Joe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Litherland (David) of Mt. Carmel and Teresa Beuligmann (Tom) of Mt. Carmel; her grandchildren, Nathan Litherland (Elizabeth) of Evansville, IN and Andrea Leadingham (James) of Carterville, IL; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Eli Litherland, Lillian, Andrew and Colton Leadingham.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Wabash General Hospital Foundation.
