She was predeceased by : her parents, James Shoulders and Mary Shoulders (Fitch); her sister Sue Lyle; and her niece Liberty Noel. She is survived by : her sons, Blake Baker of Mount Carmel and Oden Strickland of Enfield, IL; her sister Wilma Noel of Lawrenceville, IL; her half-brother Gerald Shoulders; her grandchildren, Maylyn Miller, Jarrett Miller and Krislyn Stiles; and her great grandchild Willow Miller.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies or the Wabash Rally Against Cancer (WRAC).
