It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Jane Kieffer of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 80, on November 9, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph W. Ewald and Emma "Evalyn" Ewald (Schafer); her sister Carol Leetham; her brother-in-law Norman Neel; and her pet Sammy Kicker Kieffer.

She is survived by : her husband Jack; her children, Vicki White (Roger), Scott Kieffer (Carol) and Mark Kieffer; her grandchildren, Crystal Worsena (Rick), Roger White II (Miriam), Kody Baker (Molly), Sarah Meals (Moe), Ryan Kieffer (Jessica), Morgan Wulfjen (Koby), Haley Kieffer, Sandy Mattox (Jim), Amy Wimberly and Adam White (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Lilith Spinetta (Michael), Derek Worsena, Liliana Grubb, Liam Grubb, Madeleine Jane White, Marlow White, Cara Wells, Bethany Deckard, Lane White, Jaycee White, Rekel, Treyshaon, Nevaeh and DJ Meals; her great great grandchildren, Aaron Deckard, Sunny Ray, Kelan Wells and Kade Deckard; and her siblings, George Ewald and Sue Neel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
