She is survived by: her children, Janet Kiel (Mike) of Arlington, Virginia, Terry Zimmer (Leo) of Evansville and Bernie Drone (Carla) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her grandchildren, Casie Bizuwork (Adam), Isaac Kiel (Sarah), Natalie Kassenbrock (Ryan), Todd Zimmer (Amber), Samantha Newkirk (Jake), Sabrina Staub (Josh), Jake Drone (Hilary) and Joe Drone (Kayla); and her sisters, Erma Flummerfelt of Ames and Nelda Mark of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Memorial contributions may be made in Melba's memory to Wabash County Shelter Buddies or Wabash General Hospital.
