He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude E. Edmondson and Daisy O. Edmondson (Nesler); his wife Mary Alice Moyes; his children, James Edward Edmondson and Lynn Marie Blythe; his sons-in-law, Larry Chansler and Don Blythe; and his siblings, Mary E. Jackman and Edward L. Edmondson.
He is survived by : his daughter Rita J. Chansler of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Joan Rissman of Bloomington and Bernadine White of Manassas, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Shannon Meehan (Michael), Angela Getts, Cassandra Mills (Joel), Jennifer Alexander (Nate), David Blythe (Mychelle), Sabrina Kocher (Kerry), Stephanie VanWormer (DJ), Jessica Clodfelter (Kyle), Kevin Edmondson-Pfeiffer (Julie), Jason Edmondson-Pfeiffer, Krystal Edmondson and Karabeth Edmondson. He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
