With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Edward Peters of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Raymond is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard H. Peters and Eleanor M. Peters (Dunkel). He is survived by: his wife Debra Peters; his children, Jonathan Peters of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Emily Davis (Daniel) of Washington, Indiana; his stepdaughter Amna Majors (Mark) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; his grandchildren, Hadley and Bennett Davis; and his stepgranddaughter Ashley Majors.
